Ian Storrar17/07/2023Very highly recommended I have had the pleasure of attending a few 1-2-1 and group (with my sons) workshops with Alex and each one has been a brilliant full day workshop with in either Glencoe or Fort William. Alex is super organised and picked me up in time to get in position and setup for sunrise and dropped me off after taking sunset images. I have been taking landscape photographs for quite some time now, but Alex shared some additional and extremely helpful tips to get the best shots based on the conditions. Alex’s knowledge of the Glencoe and Fort William areas is a great asset and ensured that the locations we got to were perfect for the time of day and weather conditions. We managed to do most of the iconic locations plus a few I had not been to before, which was a treat. Alex ensured there was plenty of time to set up shots and do refinements as well as providing input into composition recommended settings and some post processing tips. I have no hesitation in recommending Alex (whatever skill level you have) and I will certainly be booking with him again.

David07/04/2023I did a one day Glencoe workshop with Alex. He really is a super guide, so knowledgeable, so helpful and so generous with his time. His local knowledge is excellent, he not only took me to all the iconic locations at the most appropriate time of day but he took me to other sites I would never have found myself. He showed me features on my camera I did not know existed and changed the way I take landscape photos for the better. I’ve compared the photos of I took of Blackrock Cottage on the way up to Glencoe and the ones I took on the way home, the latter are so much better. David, Dundee 2/9/2021
